For firms where the phone is the intake desk — personal injury, criminal defence, family, immigration. It answers when nobody is there to, it tells the caller straight away that it is an A.I., and it puts them through to a person the moment they ask.

The office closed at six. This would normally be a voicemail nobody hears until Monday.

Answered at one in the morning, and put through on the first ask. The call is in your inbox, timed and transcribed, so nothing has to be reconstructed from a mailbox.
The agent speaks in Corebee’s own voice — the same Cartesia voice your phone agent is configured with. The caller is synthesised too, and is not a real customer. A scripted example, not a recording of a real call.
Illustrative scripts, not recordings of real customer calls.
Nearly everyone has been trapped in an automated system that could not understand them and would not let them out. That experience is common enough that “we use real people” is a selling point our competitors build an entire business on.
We think the part they get right is the honesty, and the part they get wrong is the conclusion. What people object to is an AI pretending to be a person. So ours does not pretend. It opens by saying it is an A.I., and it puts you through to a human the second you ask — not after it has tried to help you twice more.
The rest is a question you can only settle by watching it work on your own business. That is what the call is for. If it handles your callers badly, we would rather you found out in 30 minutes with us than in month two on your own.
Every call says it is an A.I. before anything else. Most setups open with “This call will be recorded and processed by an A.I. assistant” and a keypress to continue; set up without that, the agent says it itself. Either way the notice is part of the platform — you can add your own words after it, you cannot remove it.
Asking for a person is a trigger the agent listens for. It puts the caller through to the number you give us, and it does not try to help one more time first. On the phone that ask is the only thing that transfers a call — nothing else does it behind your back. If you have not given us a number, it tells the caller someone from the firm will follow up rather than dialling a line that is not there.
Depositions, hearings, the evening after the office locks up, the Saturday a call comes in anyway. The calls that would have gone to voicemail get answered instead — the caller confirms recording with a keypress, then talks to the agent rather than a mailbox.
It states what is in the material you gave it — your fee structure, your practice areas, your hours — plainly. When the question is a legal one it says it is not an attorney and will not guess, and it is instructed never to invent a number, a policy, a date or a deadline to fill a silence. It will not confirm or deny that a particular date is free either.
Speech recognition is set for English spoken with a strong accent — a dedicated English model rather than one that keeps re-guessing the language, and a longer pause allowed before it decides the caller has finished. On the phone it is English today. Web chat and email handle other languages; the phone does not, and we would rather tell you that than have an intake line fail quietly.
Each call opens a conversation against the number that called, so the morning after is a list of numbers to ring back rather than a mailbox to work through. The number is what is captured — not a name, not a summary. What you get is the call and the number — not a written-up intake sheet. We would rather say that now than have you find out in week two.
What happens to a call: a call you would otherwise have missed comes in. Corebee answers it and tells the caller it is an A.I. assistant. From there the call either goes to a person on your team the moment the caller asks for one, or Corebee handles it — and either way the call arrives in your inbox as a conversation against the caller’s number.
Personal injury and criminal defence, where the call that matters comes at midnight and the person making it is not going to leave a message. Family and immigration practices, where the first call is somebody's worst week and they have three other names written down. Solo and small firms where whoever answers the phone is also the person in court. The number on your billboard, your car ad and your Google listing stays exactly as it is — the line behind it forwards to us out of hours, after a set number of rings, or all the time, whichever you want.
$99a month, flat
Answering services are usually sold by the minute with an overage rate on top, so the months your phone is busiest are the months you pay most. This is not priced that way.
Voice is set up with us rather than self-serve. That is a real constraint, and it is why the first step here is a call rather than a signup form.
We build the agent on your firm while you watch — your practice areas, your fee structure, your hours — then ask it the questions your intake line actually gets. If it does not handle them well, we will tell you so on the call.
We build the agent live, point it at your real questions, and tell you straight whether it is ready for your callers.
